. . . for students of Christian faith, grades 3-12 in Eugene-Springfield, focusing on good study habits, homework completion, accountability, and direction in life.
My Study Coach's Mission My Study Coach, an in-home homework help service, helps students of Christian faith in grades 3-12 to develop good study habits, be accountable for homework completion, achieve academic success, and connect what they are learning to the ways God may be gifting and calling them.
My Study Coach's Philosophy Ongoing spiritual growth is part of the learning process. My Study Coach is built on the belief that young students of Christian faith have important work to do not only in school but in this world. So good study habits, accountability, homework completion, and academic success matter greatly.
Mary Sharon Moore, experienced in identifying spiritual gifts in others’ lives, believes that understanding the assignment, getting organized, and developing good study habits requires the dedicated guidance, honest feedback, and encouragement of a trusted adult with an eye on God’s purposes, in a relationship of accountability and mutual respect.
Mary Sharon believes that for young students of Christian faith, a robust education includes identifying and developing the gifts of the Holy Spirit, uniquely and personally given to them for the good of others. For young students, this ongoing spiritual growth indeed is a vital part of their learning process.
My Study Coach is devoted to helping dedicated parents and hard-working students to achieve and enjoy academic success and maturing of the whole person, including the spiritual self.
